Back to blogging in 2026

OMG HI. I am back! ☺

It is now July 08 in the year 2026. My last blog post in my makeup blog was back in July 2016 (exactly a decade ago--WHAT?! How crazy is it that I'm seeing all this on the exact same month but 10 years later?!) And the last one for my personal blog (the old one) was May 2014.

I suddenly missed blogging and wondered, is it dead? Did it ever die? Is it back? So I logged back into Blogspot.com and lo and behold, I see my two very old blogs. How nostalgic. It's still the same feeling from when I first blogged.

Life definitely changed. It changed a whole lot. And most of the time now I crave going back to how things were. The simplicity of it all.

AI is big now. Artificial intelligence. I can basically ask these machines to spit out posts for me but nothing comes close (and will ever come close) to things that come from the brain and typed manually.

I don't know what this blog is going to be about, so let's see where it takes us (me and you, whoever is reading this)

It'll be short today, but let me close by sharing a thought I had while I finished a 2hr long walk around the neighborhood. I always find myself feeling happy but also a bit sad whenever I see the skies turn different shades of blue to violet then orange and pink. There's something always bittersweet yet still so beautiful about it. And as I pondered on this, I thought, if we are able to see such beauty here on earth, how much more beautiful would it be in heaven? Perhaps X infinity. I fully believe it because it says so in 1 Corinthians 2:9:

"However, as it is written:

What no eye has seen,

what no ear has heard,

and what no human mind has conceived"-- the things God has prepared for those who love him--"

Perhaps sunsets make us want to weep because our souls long for home.
